Round Rainbow Surfite

Surfite is a manmade material  created from  resin built up in surfboard workshops. The resin is applied at the final stage of waterproofing a surfboard in a process called glassing. The overspill cures over time and can then be cut to expose all the layers.

This is Oregon Surfite form a board maker in the Pacific North West and has fabulous colours and patterns. 

The patterns are unique and I love the fact that this beautiful stone has been made from materials that may have made their way to landfill.

This stone has been set in Sterling Silver.  The pendant measures approx 3cm in length from the bail and 2cm wide. I have attached 3 silver balls to the bail to add some extra pizazz. It come with an 18" sterling belcher chain.

Not only a statement piece but a great talking point.
